Town of New Haven, Adams County, Wisconsin
Minutes of February, 2025 Town Board Meeting
The February meeting of the New Haven Town Board was called to order at 7:00 p.m.
on February 20 th , 2025 by Supervisor Adam Watson.
The Pledge of Allegiance was recited and the Clerk noted that proper notice of the
meeting had been given.
Minutes of the previous meeting were read and approved for filing with a motion by
Supervisor Jason Musiedlak, seconded by Adam. Motion carried.
Treasurer Conny Crothers presented the monthly financial report which was approved
for filing with a motion by Jason, seconded by Adam. Motion carried.
It was reported that the Town Attorney was drawing up the necessary paperwork for
abandoning the easement on the south side of Lake Mason but nothing was ready for
any action to be taken.
Jason moved and Adam seconded to approve the blanket permit for 2025 to allow
Adams-Columbia Electric to perform maintenance/construction on their equipment.
Motion carried.
The Clerk noted that Sentry Insurance had taken over the Workers Compensation
policy formerly covered by West Bend Insurance. Jason moved and Adam seconded to
approve the change.
Adam noted that crack filling is needed this year for 3 rd Avenue between Golden Ct. and
County P.
County Supervisor Jay Churco reported that the requested Deputy Treasurer
position was not approved by the County Board and that Todd Laudert of the Sheriff’s
department had retired after 39 years with the department.
The Clerk noted that no action needed to be taken regarding changing Attorneys as
another Attorney in John Miller’s office was assuming the position so the firm name will
remain unchanged.
Jason moved and Adam seconded to approve payment of all invoices presented to the
Clerk, motion carried.
The next regular meeting will be held on March 20 th at 7:00 p.m.
Jason moved and Adam seconded for adjournment and the meeting was declared
adjourned at 7:21 p.m.
