Minutes of April 2026 Town Board Meeting
Town of New Haven, Adams County, Wisconsin

The April meeting of the New Haven Town Board was called to order at 7:00 p.m. by
Supervisor Adam Watson.
The Pledge of Allegiance was recited and the Clerk noted that proper notice of the meeting
had been given in various ways.
Minutes of the previous meeting were read and approved with a motion by Supervisor Jason
Musiedlak, second by Adam. Motion carried.

Treasurer Conny Crothers presented the monthly financial report which was approved with
a motion by Jason, second by Adam. Motion carried.

Jason moved to accept the bid from Crack Filling Service in the amount not to exceed
$25,000. Adam seconded the motion. Motion carried.

Dave Henke of Henke Mowing presented his bid for mowing of roadsides in the amount of
$9, 216 for the year. Jason moved and Adam seconded to approve the bid. Motion carried.

There has been no further progress with the Room Tax Ordinance.

Tory Wolfram, representing Andrew and Tammy Vernon in the matter of rezoning a portion
of their parcel, explained the request. The Town Plan Commission had reviewed the
request and found it to be in accordance with the Town Comprehensive Plan and
recommends for approval. No one appeared in opposition at the Plan Commission
meeting or the Town Board meeting. Jason moved and Adam seconded to approve the
request. Motion carried.

Phil Wright appeared to explain his request to rezone his parcel from R-2 to R-1-LL. He
wishes to build a second home and to do so the rezone is required. The Town Plan
Commission reviewed the proposal and found that it was in accordance with the
Comprehensive Plan. No one spoke in opposition at either the Plan Commission meeting
or the Town Board Meeting. Jason moved and Adam seconded to approve the request.
Motion carried.

It was agreed to place the Bid Notice for Road work in the County paper and to open the
bids at noon on May 15th.

Jason reported that he had viewed the drainage problem on 5th Drive and Gage Klicko will
prepare an estimate of cost which will be reviewed at the next meeting.
He had also looked at a drainage problem on Grouse Ct and determined that cleaning the
ditch was necessary as an attempt to alleviate the problem. Gage Klicko will do the work.
Jason moved and Adam seconded to pay all bills that had been presented to the Clerk.
Motion carried.

Future Agenda items shall include any progress on the Room Tax Ordinance, drainage
problems on 5th Drive and Grouse Ct., and appointment of three members to the Town Plan
Commission.

The next regular meeting will be on Thursday, May 21, 2026 at 7:00 p.m.
Jason moved and Adam seconded and the meeting was adjourned at 7:41 p.m.
