Town of New Haven, Adams County, Wisconsin
Minutes of June 18, 2026 Town Board Meeting

The June meeting of the New Haven Town Board was called to order at 7:00 p.m. by
Chairman Jay Churco. The Pledge of Allegiance was recited and the Clerk noted that notice
of the meeting had been posted in four places, emailed to interested persons, and placed
on the Town Website.

Drainage issues on 5th Drive were discussed and it was decided to have a special meeting
with contractors interested in the project at the site at a future date. Supervisor Jason
Musiedlak moved to postpone action on this problem until a later date. Supervisor Adam
Watson seconded the motion which carried unanimously.

Road work progress was discussed and additional work will be done to fix the holes at the
intersection of County G and Golden Court.

Adam moved and Jason seconded to appoint Peter Joslin, Tom Morse, and Jane Gaffney for
a three year term on the Town Plan Commission. Motion carried.

Adam moved to approve all licenses listed on the agenda for one year. Jason seconded the
motion which carried unanimously.

Megan Steckelberg and Izzy Jackson, representing the Adams County Chamber of
Commerce described what they do with Room Tax Revenue they receive. An agreement
between the Town of New Haven and Visit Adams County was presented for consideration.

Jason reported that he had removed some trees from the roads after recent storms. Jay
reported that the Courthouse renovations were progressing nicely and should be finished
by late summer or early fall.

Jason moved and Adam seconded to approve payment of all invoices presented to the
Clerk. Motion carried.

Future agenda items shall include considering and possible acting on the agreement
between New Haven and Visit Adams County and establishing the number of poll workers
for the August Primary.

The next regular meeting will be held July 16th at 7:00 p.m.
Jason moved and Adam seconded for adjournment and the Chairman declared the
meeting adjourned at 7:47 p.m.
