Minutes of July, 2025 Board Meeting
Town of New Haven, Adams County, WI
The July 2025 meeting of the New Haven Town Board was called to order at 7:00 p.m. on
Thursday, July 17th, 2025 by Chairman Jay Churco.
The adjourned Board of Review was convened and since the assessment roll is not yet
complete, the session was adjourned for another month.
The Regular Monthly meeting was then convened. The Pledge of Allegiance was recited
and the Clerk certified that proper notice of the meeting had been given.
Minutes of the June Board meeting and June 23rd bid opening were read and approved with
a motion by Supervisor Jason Musiedlak and second by Supervisor Adam Watson. Motion
carried.
The Treasurer’s report was presented and approved for filing with a motion by Adam,
second by Jason. Motion carried.
Michael Madden was in attendance to withdraw his request for vacating the right of way
along his property.
Adam moved to table the decision on whether to spray the rights of way until next month.
Jason seconded the motion and the motion carried.
Operators Licenses were approved for Wendi Wertman and Sarah Gerow with a motion by
Adam and second by Jason. Motion carried.
Mrs. Wisnewski appeared with pictures of damage done to her property during the road
right of way mowing. She requested that the operator of the mower be instructed to not
mow along her property. Jay will contact Henke Mowing and relay the message.
Since the Town can do nothing to prevent traffic from travelling through the Tom Evans
property, aside from what has already been tried, the Board will contact him to assist with
installing a gate, if he wishes to have that done.
Cory Cardinal has offered to remove two trees from the right of way in front of the Big Spring
Church. They are rotten at the ground and he will cut them and remove the debris at no
charge if he can keep the wood. Jason will coordinate with him to get this accomplished.
Invoices that had been presented to the Clerk were approved for payment with a motion by
Adam, seconded by Jason. Motion carried.
Future agenda items shall include the tabled action on road spraying.
The next regular meeting will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, August 19th
.
Jason moved to adjourn the meeting, Adam seconded the motion and the Chairman
declared the meeting adjourned at 7:36 p.m.
