Minutes of September 18,2025 Town Board Meeting

The September meeting of the New Haven Town Board was called to order at 7:00 p.m. at
the Town Hall by Chairman Jay Churco. The Pledge of Allegiance was recited and the Clerk
noted that notice of the meeting had been posted in four locations, placed on the Town
website, and emailed to those who have requested that form of notification.

Minutes of the previous meeting were reviewed and approved with a motion by Supervisor
Adam Watson, second by Supervisor Jason Musiedlak and carried by unanimous voice
vote.
The Treasurer’s report was reviewed and approved for filing with a motion by Jason, second
by Adam and carried by unanimous voice vote.

Jason reported that the Waushara County Highway Department no longer had the
necessary manpower to perform brush spraying. Discussion on brush control in the rights
of way ensued and it was agreed to hire someone to use a boom mower to cut it back
where necessary. Jason will make a list of the worst areas.

Jason moved and Adam seconded to approve granting the Class B Combination License to
Jake and Athena Johnson, for the premises known as Club 23 when the effective date is
known. Motion carried.

Revisions to the Adams County Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance were discussed. Pete
Joslin, former Chairman of the Town Plan Commission had been requested to review the
proposed changes and submit his findings and suggestions. This he has done by email.
Upon reviewing his email, Adam moved to forward the email, with no additions or
corrections to the County Zoning Administrator as the response from New Haven. Jason
seconded the motion which then carried by unanimous voice vote.

Invoices which had been presented to the Clerk were approved for payment with a motion
by Adam, second by Jason and the motion carried by unanimous voice vote.
Future agenda items shall include building maintenance for the Town Hall.
The next regular meeting will be held on October 16, 2025 at 7:00 p.m.
Jason moved, Adam seconded for adjournment and the Chairman declared the meeting
adjourned at 7:31 p.m.

Respectfully Submitted,
Ken Crothers, Clerk
