Minutes of October 2017 New Haven Town Board
The October meeting of the New Haven Town Board was called to order at 7:00 p.m. on
Wednesday, the 11th, at the Town Hall by Chairman, Tory Wolfram.
The Pledge of Allegiance was recited and the clerk noted that notice of the meeting had been
posted at Club 23, the boat landing on the south shore of Lake Mason, and at the Town Hall as
well as having been sent electronically to those on record as wishing to be notified in that
manner.
Minutes of the previous meeting were read and approved by a motion from Supervisor Adam
Watson and a second by Supervisor Bill Ebert.
The Treasurer’s report was presented and approved on a motion by Adam and second by Bill.
The chairman invited all in attendance to ask questions and make pertinent comments
throughout the meeting.
Aaron Gerike will be doing brushing and tree cutting and Bill will be in charge of which areas
need attention.
It was suggested that the letter accompanying tax bills include the date of the annual clean-up
day which is set for the first Saturday in May. In 2018, this will be May 5th
.
Dale will be working with either Gassers or Scott Construction to investigate and repair the hole
which has appeared on 1st Lane between Gale Ct. and County P.
The next meeting will be on November 16th and will follow the Budget Hearing which convenes
at 7:00 p.m. and the Special Town Meeting which convenes immediately following the Hearing.
Adam moved and Bill seconded for adjournment and the meeting was declared adjourned at
7:35 p.m.
