Town of New Haven, Adams County, Wisconsin
Minutes of October 14, 2021 Town Board Meeting
The October meeting of the New Haven Town Board was called to order at 7:00 p.m. on
Thursday, October 14, 2021 by Tory Wolfram, Town Chairman.
The Pledge of Allegiance was recited and the Clerk noted that notice had been posted on the
Town web site, posted in three public places, and sent electronically to those on record as
having requested such form of notification.
Minutes of the previous meeting were read and approved with a motion by Supervisor Adam
Watson and second by Supervisor Bill Ebert.
Treasurer Conny Crothers presented the monthly financial report which was subsequently
approved with a motion by Bill and second by Adam.
Resolution #10-2021 entitled “Ward Division and Designating Polling Place” was discussed. This
Resolution is required to complete the Re-districting of County Board seats which resulted from
the recently completed census. While all of New Haven is in District one, it is only a portion of
the district. The Resolution simply clarifies that all of New Haven is in one district and all residents
of the Town will vote at the Town Hall. Adam moved for adoption of said Resolution. Bill
seconded the motion. The Clerk proceeded with a roll call vote with all three supervisors voting
in favor and the motion was thus carried.
Tory reported that he will be attending the meetings of the County TRIP committee and that the
first meeting had been postponed
Invoices as presented by the Clerk were approved for payment with a motion by Adam and
second by Bill.
The next meeting, to be held at 7:00 p.m. on the 18th of November, will begin with the Budget
Hearing which shall be followed by a Special Town Meeting to adopt the Tax Levy. Immediately
following the Special Town Meeting, the regular monthly meeting will convene. More
information about possible Trip money will be available by that time.
Adam moved and Bill seconded for adjournment and the meeting was declared adjourned at 7:34
p.m.
