TB minutes 12-15-16
Minutes of December 15, 2016 Monthly Town Board Meeting
Town of New Haven, Adams County, Wis.
The regular monthly meeting of the New Haven Town Board was called to order at 7:00 p.m. by Chairman Tory Wolfram.
Notice of the meeting had been posted in three places and transmitted electronically to those on record as having requested same.
Minutes of the previous meeting were read and approved on a motion by Supervisor Bill Ebert and second by Supervisor Adam Watson.
The Treasurer’s report was given and approved on a motion by Bill and second by Adam.
The storm damaged culverts on Golden Avenue were discussed. Royal Excavating had looked at them on 12/14 and recommends repairs wait until spring. Adam had inspected the culvert near the Ginther farm on Golden Ave. and reported it seemed to be in good condition and found no obvious reason for the dip in the road. It will be checked again in the spring and in the meantime gravel will be placed over it if it gets too rough.
The Clerk’s ledger and year end balances were audited by the Board.
Adam reported most signs were in good shape going into winter.
Tory read a list of the bills for approval and payment. Adam moved and Bill seconded to pay all bills as presented. Motion carried.
The FEMA reimbursement will be discussed at the next meeting if further information is available.
The next meeting will be held at 7:00 p.m. on January 26, 2017.
Bill moved and Adam seconded to adjourn and the Chairman declared the meeting adjourned at 7:18 p.m.
Minutes taken by Conny Crothers, Treasurer, in the absence of the Clerk.
Respectfully,
Kenneth Crothers, Clerk
