TB minutes 12-17-20
Town of New Haven, Adams County, Wisconsin
Minutes of December 17, 2020 Town Board Meeting
At 7:04 p.m. on Thursday December 17, 2020 Chairman Tory Wolfram called the regular
monthly meeting of the New Haven Town Board to Order with the Pledge of Allegiance.
The Clerk noted that notice of the meeting had been posted in three places on 12/14/2020 and
sent electronically to those who had requested such form of notification. Minutes of the
Budget Hearing, Special Town meeting to adopt the levy, and regular November board meeting
were read and approved with a motion from Supervisor Adam Watson and second from
Supervisor Bill Ebert.
Treasurer Conny Crothers presented the monthly financial report which was approved for filing
with a motion by Adam and second by Bill.
The requests by Timothy and Anna Sellers to rezone one acre from R-1 to B-1 and for a Special
Exception Permit to allow for a repair shop on the B-1 parcel were considered. The property is
located at 327 Golden Ct., and is Lot 13 of the New Haven Assessor’s Plat, and falls within the
Shoreland Protection District. They wish to repair boat motors at that location. The Town Plan
Commission had studied this and recommends for approval of both requests, subject to
conditions attached to the Town Participation Form. Adam moved to approve the rezone from
R-1 to B-1 and to approve the Special Exception Permit with conditions as recommended by the
Town Plan Commission. Bill seconded and the motion carried.
The Town has been requested to approve using a portion of Gale Ct. between County G and the
Town line as a snowmobile route. A new landowner had refused to allow the existing trail to
traverse his property so this alternative was necessary. Bill moved and Adam seconded to allow
this, and the motion carried.
Bills were presented for approval by the clerk and Bill moved with a second from Adam to pay
the bills as presented. Motion carried.
The next regular meeting will be at 7:00 p.m. on the 21st of January, 2021.
Bill moved and Adam seconded to adjourn and the Chairman declared the meeting adjourned
at 7:32 p.m.
Respectfully Submitted,
Kenneth Crothers, Town Clerk
