Minutes of December 19, 2019 Meeting
Town of New Haven, Adams County, Wisconsin
The December 2019 meeting of the New Haven Town Board was called to order at 7:00 p.m. on
Thursday the 19th by Chairman Tory Wolfram.
The Pledge of Allegiance was recited and the Clerk noted that notice of the meeting had been
posted in three places and sent electronically to those on record as wishing that form of notice.
Minutes of the Budget Hearing, Special Town Meeting to adopt the tax levy, and November
Board meeting were read and approved with a motion from Supervisor Bill Ebert and a second
from Supervisor Adam Watson.
Treasurer Conny Crothers presented the monthly financial report which was then approved
with a motion by Adam and second by Bill.
Chairman Wolfram reported that General Engineering is preparing our applications for the
90/10 road aid projects. He also stated that Lenorud Recycling of Mauston would like to have
the garbage and recycling figures for the year in order to prepare a quote for future years.
Betty Licitar, Cheryl Coon, Karren Watson, Michele Hammerly, Kay James, Barb Sigmund, Linda
Seiler, Gina Lindner, Jean Isaacson, Shannon Churco, Harold Seiler, and Conny Crothers were
appointed as poll workers for the 2020-2021 term. Moved by Bill, seconded by Adam and
carried.
The annual audit of the Clerks Finance Book was completed.
Matt Hernandez questioned his authority to make decisions regarding the Transfer Site and was
told that all ordinary operational decisions were up to him unless he felt he needed Board
approval. Larger decisions will be up to the Board.
Bill commended Matt for the work he is doing.
Eric Edwards, representing the ATV/UTV club, requested consideration of expanding the routes
in New Haven. This will be placed on the agenda for next month.
Bills were presented by the clerk and all were approved for payment with a motion by Bill and
second by Adam.
Next month’s agenda shall include expanding ATV routes in the Town, Transfer Site, and Tree
and Brush work.
The next meeting will be held on January 16, 2020 at 7:00 p.m. Adam moved and Bill seconded
for adjournment and the meeting was declared adjourned at 7:42 p.m.
