TOWN OF NEW HAVEN, ADAMS COUNTY, WI
Regular Monthly Town Board meeting of FEBRUARY 19, 2015-7:00 P.M.
The regular monthly Town Board meeting was called to order at 7:00 p.m. by Chairperson Julson with all board members present. Pledge of Allegiance was recited and this meeting was properly noticed in accordance with the Open Meeting Law. The agenda for this meeting was approved with a motion by Brad Luger seconded by Lenny Watson. M/C. Minutes of the January 15, 2015 regular monthly town board meeting were reviewed and approved with a motion by Luger/Watson. M/C. The January 2015 financial report was read by the Town Treasurer with the following balances as of January 31, 2015: NOW checking account-$31,468.43 , Berry Ridge Parking Fees-$, 875.68 Tax account-$243,386.91 and Certificate of Deposit-$19,703.33.
PUBLIC COMMENT:
Ken Huber had a couple of suggestions for the Town Board 1) the outgoing Chairperson and the newly elected Chairperson should meet and share direction as to what has been accomplished and the vision of the Town for the future 2) a beam guard should be installed on the corner by the pond on Golden Court.
OLD OR UNFINISHED BUSINESS:
Public nuisance ordinance: after discussing at several meetings the possibility of the Town adopting their own public nuisance/junk ordinance a motion was made by Lenny Watson to forgo adopting a local ordinance and enforce the junk problems in the Town through the Adams County ordinance already in place, seconded by Brad Luger. M/C.
Gaffney driveway permit applications: In order to assess what needs to be installed as far as culverts, these applications were tabled until the spring thaw with a motion by Brad Luger/ Lenny Watson. M/C. Applications will remain on file with the Town Clerk.
NEW BUSINESS:

CHAIRPERSON REPORT:
There was a moment of silence for Patrick Coon, who passed away on February 9, 2015, he was a long time resident of the Town of New Haven and also member of the Town Plan Commission.
Disbursements were read by the town clerk and approved for payment with a motion by Luger/Watson. M/C. Motion to adjourn at 7:30 p.m. by Luger/Watson until March 19, 2015 at 7:00 p.m. M/C.
