Minutes of February, 2020 Town Board Meeting
Town of New Haven, Adams County, Wisconsin
The February, 2020 meeting of the New Haven Town Board was called to order at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday the 20th at the Town Hall by Chairman Tory Wolfram
The Pledge of Allegiance was recited and the Clerk noted that notice of the meeting had been posted in three places, posted on the Town web site, and sent electronically to those who have requested that form of notification.
Minutes of the previous meeting were read and approved with a motion by Supervisor Adam Watson and a second by Supervisor Bill Ebert.
The Treasurer’s report was approved with a motion by Bill and second by Adam.
The Chairman invited those in attendance to ask questions and make comments during the meeting as appropriate.
No action was taken and no new information was presented regarding the Transfer Site.
Adam moved to table any action regarding expansion of ATV routes for two months. Bill seconded the motion which then carried with a unanimous voice vote.
Bill moved and Adam seconded a motion to grant a blanket permit to Adams Columbia Electric Co-op to do maintenance on their utilities within the Town in 2020. Motion carried.
Bill moved and Adam seconded to approve the lot subdivision and rezone request made by Ed and Barb Sigmund. Motion carried.
It was reported that Royal Excavating had begun work on the ditches and culverts on Golden Avenue.
The Clerk reminded those in attendance that the Spring Election and Presidential Primary would take place on Tuesday the 7th of April.
The clerk presented the bills for the month which were approved for payment with a motion by Bill and second by Adam.
Future agenda items shall include Transfer Site updates and proposed brushing work.
The next meeting will be on Thursday March 26th at 7:00 p.m.
Adam moved and Bill seconded to adjourn and the meeting was declared adjourned at 7:29 p.m.
