TB minutes 2-25-21
Minutes of February 25, 2021 Town Board Meeting
Chairman Tory Wolfram called the February 2021 regular meeting of the New Haven Town
Board to order at 7:00 p.m.
The Pledge of Allegiance was recited and the Clerk noted that proper notice of the meeting had
been posted and sent electronically.
Minutes of the previous meeting were read and approved with a motion by Supervisor Bill
Ebert and second by Tory.
Conny Crothers presented the Treasurer’s Report which was then approved with a motion by
Bill and second by Tory.
Dustin Grant, Adams County Planning and Zoning Director, explained proposed changes to the
Farmland Preservation maps. The maps are being re-done to more properly reflect the actual
and possible future uses of all property in the Town. Currently there is some property in New
Haven mapped as Farmland Preservation area which really isn’t farmland and maps should be
revised to reflect their proper use. Revising the maps is the first of several steps to be taken
leading up to approval by the County Board.
Mr. Grant also presented a draft of revisions to the camping ordinance. Problems have arisen in
the County regarding this issue and they will be addressed to head off further problems. At this
point the revisions are being presented to the Towns for input and following that, will
ultimately need approval from the County Board.
The Clerk presented the bills for the month which were approved for payment with a motion
from Bill and second from Tory.
Future agenda items shall include the problem on 1st Lane.
The next meeting of the Board will be on March 18 at 7:00 p.m.
Bill moved and Tory seconded for adjournment and the meeting was adjourned at 8:29 p.m.
Respectfully,
Ken Crothers, Clerk
