TOWN OF NEW HAVEN, ADAMS COUNTY, WI
Regular Monthly Town Board meeting of MARCH 19, 2015-7:00 P.M.
The regular monthly Town Board meeting was called to order at 7:00 p.m. by Supervisor I, Brad Luger with all board members present except Chairperson Mike Julson. Pledge of Allegiance was recited and this meeting was properly noticed in accordance with the Open Meeting Law. The agenda for this meeting was approved with a motion by Lenny Watson, seconded by Brad Luger. M/C. Minutes of the Februaryuary 19, 2015 regular monthly town board meeting were reviewed and approved with a motion by Watson/Luger. M/C. The February 2015 financial report was read by the Town Treasurer with the following balances as of February 28, 2015: NOW checking account-$125,509.09, Berry Ridge Parking Fees-$1,764.57 Tax account-closed out for distribution and Certificate of Deposit-$19,703.33.
PUBLIC COMMENT:
Mrs. Wisnewski asked if it was permissible to have a semi-trailer parked on their property for possibly up to one and a half years for storage, she was directed to call Adams Co. planning & Zoning.

Hometown Community Insurance agent Mike Berry reviewed the insurance policies with the town board, explaining even with no changes in the policies that premiums had increased about $200. Jesse Leichsenring and Daniel Wood both candidates for Adams County Circuit Court Judge were on the agenda, Mr. Leichsenring was not present, Mr. Wood stated his qualifications and endorsements and stayed to answer any questions after the meeting. Resolution #02-2015 opposing the Department of Revenue’s proposal that is included in the state budget to change from municipal assessment to county assessment that requires 100% assessment of every property every year and asking for the proposal to be removed from the budget was adopted with a motion by Watson/Luger. M/C. Copies of this resolution were forwarded onto Sen. Luther Olsen, Joan Ballweg and the Wisconsin Town’s Association by the town clerk. An original application for a Class “B” fermented malt beverage license for the Prairie Hawk Winery, 590 County Road P, Wisconsin Dells, WI was approved with a motion by Watson/Luger. M/C. This license will be up for renewal by June 30, 2015.
Disbursements read by the town clerk were approved for payment with a motion by Luger/Watson. M/C. Motion to adjourn at 7:25 p.m. by Luger/Watson until the April 16, 2015 regular monthly town board meeting. M/C.
