Minutes of March 21, 2019 Meeting of the New Haven Town Board
The Regular Monthly meeting of the New Haven Town Board was called to order at 7:00 p.m. on March 21, 2019 by Chairman Tory Wolfram.
The Pledge of Allegiance was recited and the Clerk noted that notice had been given by posting in three public places and sent electronically to those requesting that form of notification.
The minutes of the previous meetings were read and approved with a motion by Supervisor Adam Watson and second by Supervisor Bill Ebert.
Treasurer Conny Crothers presented the monthly Treasurer’s report which was then approved with a motion by Adam and second by Bill.
Chairman Wolfram invited all in attendance to ask pertinent questions and comment on the various agenda items as they are discussed.
Adam moved and Bill seconded to approve the request of Zach Comstock to rezone a portion of his property to B-! to allow for a small scale automobile sales business and to rezone the remainder of his property to R-1LL to make it conforming. Motion carried.
John Miller, Attorney for the Town spoke regarding issues at Berry Ridge Mobile Home Park and reiterated that the Town only has authority over health and safety issues in the park. Shannon Smith, District Manager for ImpactMHP answered many questions from park residents in attendance at the meeting. She will be working on addressing those issues as soon as possible.
It was agreed to meet with Royal Brackman of Royal Excavating regarding ditch and culvert issues along Golden Ave. from County G west to 5th Avenue. The intersection of Fur Ln. and G has been repaired since the damage which occurred from snow melt. The necessary paperwork to receive funds from FEMA for last falls storm is completed. Tory reported on the Wisconsin Towns Association District meeting which he attended.
Bills were presented by the Clerk and approved for payment with a motion by Adam and second by Bill.
Scott Rowe, resident of Berry Ridge reported a problem with gravel on the blacktop at the intersection of 5th Dr. and Co. P. Tom Storandt reported a developing cave in on 4th Drive east of the intersection with Golden Ln.
The next meeting will be held immediately following the Annual Meeting which will convene at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, April 16, 2019.
Adam moved and Bill seconded to adjourn and the Chairman declared the meeting adjourned at 7:44 p.m.
