Minutes of May 16, 2019 Meeting of New Haven Town Board
The regular monthly meeting of the New Haven Town Board was called to order at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 16, 2019 at the Town Hall by Chairman Tory Wolfram.
The Pledge of Allegiance was recited and the Clerk noted that notice of the meeting had been posted in three places and transmitted electronically to those on record wishing that form of notification.
Minutes of the previous meeting were read and approved by a motion from Supervisor Adam Watson and second by Supervisor Bill Ebert.
The Treasurer’s report was presented and approved by a motion from Adam and second from Bill.
The Chairman invited those in attendance to ask pertinent questions and make appropriate comments on the various agenda items as the meeting progressed.
There was no old business pending and the only item of new business was the request of Ken and Dick Huber to rezone a portion of their property from A1-35 to R1-LL. The Town Plan Commission had studied the request and given unanimous approval. Bill moved and Adam seconded to rezone the SW 3 acres of the SW1/4 of the SE1/4 of Section 15 from A1-15 to
R1-LL. Motion carried.
It was noted that Board of Review will be held at the Town Hall from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. on Wednesday, May 22nd. Liquor License and Mobile Home Park License applications have been sent out and will hopefully be returned in time for approval at the June meeting.
The Clerk was instructed to figure a bill for the emergency snow plowing and sanding done in Berry Ridge and send to the appropriate person for payment.
Bills for the month were presented and approved for payment by a motion from Bill and second by Adam.
Future agenda items shall include discussion of the ditch and shoulder work to be done on Golden Avenue between County Road G and Fifth Avenue.
The next meeting will be held on Thursday, June 20, at 7:00 p.m.
Adam moved and Bill seconded to adjourn and the meeting was declared adjourned at 7:25 p.m.
