Minutes of June 17, 2021 Town Board Meeting
Town of New Haven, Adams County, Wisconsin
The June, 2021 meeting of the New Haven Town Board was called to order at the Town Hall at
7:00 p.m. on Thursday, 17 th by Chairman Tory Wolfram.
The Pledge of Allegiance was recited and the Clerk noted that notice of the meeting had been
posted in three locations, posted on the Town Website, and emailed to those on record as
wishing that form of notification.
Minutes of the previous meeting were read and approved with a motion by Supervisor Bill
Ebert and second by Supervisor Adam Watson. Motion carried.
Treasurer Conny Crothers presented the Treasurer’s report which was then approved with a
motion by Adam and second by Bill. Motion carried.
Class B Combination licenses were approved for Club 23 and The Cove. Class B Beer licenses
were approved for Prairie Hawk Winery, Wagon Wheel Campground, and Antiques and Lace
Bed and Breakfast. Class A Beer License was approved for Lake Mason Campground. Class B
Winery License was approved for Prairie Hawk Winery. Cigarette and Tobacco licenses were
approved for Lake Mason Campground, Wagon Wheel Campground, and Antiques and Lace
Bed and Breakfast. Operator’s Licenses were approved for Tanya Clausen, Melissa Winter,
Lacey Bram, Richard Baker, Amy Baker, Jim Forsythe, Alia Alani, Sandra Steffen and Aston
Walters. Motion to approve all as presented made by Adam and seconded by Bill. Motion
carried.
All bills as presented by the Clerk were approved for payment with a motion by Bill and second
by Adam.
The Clerk presented information on the new voting machine which is necessary to replace the
existing one which is becoming obsolete. New one will count paper ballots and will have a
HAVA compliant touch screen attachment which will print a paper ballot which can then be fed
into the counter. All ballots may be counted manually should any questions arise. Cost to be
around $9,500 and may be offset by ARPA funds due to the massive increase in absentee
ballots caused by the COVID pandemic.
Future agenda items shall include an update on the progress made by Gasser Construction on
Golden Avenue.
Next meeting will be held on July 15, 2021.
Bill moved and Adam seconded for adjournment and the Chairman declared the meeting
adjourned at 7:27 p.m.
