Minutes of September 21,2023 Town Board Meeting
Town of New Haven, Adams County, Wisconsin
The September meeting of the New Haven Town Board was called to order at 7:00 p.m. on
Thursday, September 21 st by Town Chairman Tory Wolfram.
The Pledge of Allegiance was recited and the Clerk noted that proper notice of the meeting had
been given.
Minutes of the previous meeting were read and approved with a motion by Supervisor Adam
Watson and second by Supervisor Jason Musiedlak. Motion carried.
The Treasurer’s report was reviewed and approved for filing with a motion by Adam, second by
Jason. Motion carried.
Road Superintendent Bill Ebert reported that patching was ongoing, that mowing of the
roadsides was complete, and that the culvert on second needed repairs. Discussion of that
culvert ensued and it was agreed to proceed with having Gage Klicko replace the culvert and
make repairs to the shoulder over the culvert.
County Board Supervisor Jay Churco reported that the County was working on a program to
offset the cost of prescription drugs was a good possibility, The potato processing plant may
still be constructed in the County Industrial Park on Hwy 82, but that a site in South Dakota was
also being considered.
Representatives of the ATV/UTV Club were in attendance indicating the signing should be
complete by the end of October.
Invoices presented to the Clerk were approved for payment, including one presented at the
meeting for Gage Klicko and an expected one from GSF Enterprises for road mowing. Jason
moved to approve paying the presented and expected invoices, Adam seconded the motion
and the motion carried.
The next agenda shall include a resolution to increase the Town Levy by 25%. This resolution
will then be presented to the people at the Special Town Meeting when the Levy is approved.
Next meeting will be on October 19 th at 7:00 p.m.
Adam moved for adjournment, Jason seconded and the Chairman declared the meeting
adjourned at 7:33 p.m.
